Frequently asked questions (FAQ’s) is a GREAT page, every practice is different and the person who answers the phone must say the same thing day in day out !! , they also know everything so there is s very good reason for developing an informative FAQ page.
Firstly, if that staff member was to leave you perhaps loose a big chunk of knowledge but also when a new staff member starts they could easily sit down and go through the FAQ’s before training begins, this way they will be better informed and take in how your practice works.
Secondly, patients can go there and find answers individual to your practice and not need to pick up the phone and use your staff members time.
We have many clients using FAQ’s but one in particular LOVES his, religiously he writes new FAQ’s when something new gets asked, at first it was time consuming but now he hardly ever needs to. A common phone call that use to take him 15 minutes to explain his service now becomes ” hi, i’ve been onto your website…can I book an appointment….” , previously that phone call was ” do you stock this? what if….? how long does it take..? etc etc etc etc
So you can see a well documented FAQ can really help your business effiencency
